David wrote about the greatest WHY statement ever crafted. We all will recognize that is part of the Declaration of Independence. To commemorate Independence Day, Marisa and David discuss the 56 signers of the document and why this statement is so powerful. They discuss how it has inspired Americans for over 242 years. Just imagine what life would be like those 56 men hadn’t declared independence from Great Britain.

In this week’s blog post, David shared his recent struggles with negativity. While reflecting on his negative mindset he stumbled on a quote he recorded years earlier “ There is no such thing as a thought that doesn't have consequences.” Each and every one of his negative thoughts took him further down the slippery slope. David also learned that negative emotions are more powerful than positive emotions so we need a 3:1 ratio of positive to negative just to stay in a neutral mood. Join Marisa and David as they look more closely at ways to build more positivity in our day.

Most of us have gears we never use.” There are so many areas in our life where we view our capacity as very limited. In the post David shared an example of how we can increase our Energy capacity. He also shared the following equation from one of John Maxwell’s newer books, No Limits AWARENESS + ABILITY + CHOICES = CAPACITY. Unfortunately most of us think the equation is ABILITY=CAPACITY. In this podcast, Marisa and David take a closer look at our Thinking and Creativity capacity.
